Spring Fashion 2014

Spring Fashion 2014!!!!

So it is 2014 and in just a few more weeks it will be Spring!!! Aw.  Yaay! lol.  The official date of spring is Thursday March 20th I Believe.   Spring isn't necessarily my favorite season of seasons but I can definitely see why it is to some and it's nice to just have a change of pace.  Change in season means change in fashion, make up, drinks at Starbucks/ other places, Easter, and just all that good stuff!   Before we get into fashion..  Little Fun Fact:  There is an official color for every year.  I never knew this by the way.  Yep. An in color every year decided by Pantone - (the global authority for color standard).  They provide the color standards for the design industry all around the world.  I found this out on the  Bethenny Frankel Show (my new fav show by the way & added to my DVR).  See.. you can learn from talk shows lol. no. but if you haven't watched yet, get on it!  It feels like such a movement and something special like Ellen or something. 

 So anyway...  I said all that to say the official color of 2014 is.. drumroll please...  Radiant Orchid! ..lol.  If you don't know what radiant orchid is ( don't worry, neither did I)  it's like a purple ish type color.  Here's a pic of the color and how you can implement it into your wardrobe. 

Very pretty color though and they say it isn't just one color.  It's all the hues of orchid so it's like many different colors in one.  You can do something like above or they said like  a pop of orchid (for ex.. you have a regular outfit on like jeans and a tshirt but then you have an orchid scarf or something)  Or maybe like an orchid purse and matching orchid heels lol. 

So now on to Spring Fashion.  The color trends of spring are:  the combination of black and white (very simple, pretty, effortless looking and classy look), not pastels but Icy pastels such as a pastel pink that has a metallic sort of look, and hints of pink and strong colors. For shoes: Low heels are in?  what! but yay because I love low heels.  honestly I would wear that all around.  Ain't nobody got time for discomfort.

  I honestly really like spring fashion a lot because it seems the most loose and carefree.  It feels like messy hair, light colors, drinking kool aid at the park ( I don't know why I always see someone drinking kool aid at the park lol), riding bikes, walking your dog.  It's very simple and minimal. and comfortable!  Less is more kinda thing.  I like it because it reminds me of simpler times as a kid in the 90's playing in the street or something.  It feels slightly nostalgic and magical.
