This is a small list of what is in my DVR right at this moment. I picked 6 shows I feel every girl should have in her DVR and why so lets get into it!

1. The Wendy Show!!! This is definitely my show. It's just a fun/girly/ and exciting show! A girly girl must watch! And I am personally just a fan of Wendy Williams! And look..
Doesn't she make 40+ look good! It's like wow! And she's 50 now! I'm not sure how old she is in this picture but this is what she looks like at 50 anyway. It's crazy how times change and what 50 can look like now! Also, shes like 5'11! I like that she is a big woman and owns it. Who still rocks the heels and everything! Alot of big girls who aren't tiny and petite can feel insecure about there size so I just love that she represents something different and reps it well! Anyways, She's a great talker which I love and Knows how to spice it up and keep it exciting. And personally, I love to hear what an older woman who's lived but who's still on it/quick and sharp etc.. has to say about what goes on in the world. I like to hear opinions and points of view (reads etc) from someone who's actually lived some life and says things like they mean it as she likes to say lol. It's just a fun show with her different cute mugs and bedazzled glasses and diva fans lol. Just pure fun! A must watch!
2. Keeping up with the Kardashians I realize that this show might not be everyone's cup of tea.. but it's mine lol. Anyway for those who have been following they are on their 9th season and it's full of all kinds of divorce, drama, Kim adjusting to motherhood, getting her body back after pregnancy and just other regular life things that women go through and the new season looks goood! So a must watch as well!
3. Dancing with the stars This show doesn't have 17 seasons under their belt for no reason! Dancing with the stars is soooo entertaining. And honestly, I'm hella late to this show. I just started watching season 17! My moms husband got me watching and I'm obseeeessed now! I'm gonna buy all the seasons from best buy or wherever they sell it lol. I promise. It's that good! It's the dancing. It's the judges. The dancing outfits! I just love all the costumes. I'm always excited to see the glittery dresses for each number and even what the guys wear too. They are pretty snazzy on this show. It's the work behind the scenes and seeing how everyone progresses. It's the dancers that train them and of course it's the celebrity's. It's just so much fun. When dancing with the stars AND the voice where on, I was just loving tv! lol. I was in tv heaven. I think they came on Monday and Tuesday so it was just like a great way to start the week.
A must watch x10! Once you start you will be addicted!!!
4. The Voice This is another show my moms husband got me addicted to. The voice is one of the more authentic feeling singing shows which I like. There's a mix up of things that go on which make it exciting. It feels like you don't know what to expect and that it never gets stale. I looove Christina Aguilera on the show of course. I loved her before the show and was a big reason I gave the show a chance but I love her on as well with her fashion and really insightful critique and advice. She wears the cutest stuff on the show too! and her makeup is flawless! I like to see her new ensembles every week! Adam Levine and Blake Shelton are hilarious! Blake Shelton is just hilllaaarious! even by himself. I literally laugh out loud! And Ceelo is pretty funny too. I actually love his weird fashion sense also. He always has something CRAZY on but it actually looks good on him. I actually look forward to seeing Ceelo's ensembles every week too. I like people who are fun and outrageous with their style. Also, he's one of those guys that owns being big lol.. but I like that and good for him you know. I also applaud that he does extremely different things when it comes to the way he dresses verses other men. Usually women are the ones who are creative in the fashion department and it's like men just put any old thing on but not Ceelo. He dresses very fun and outrageous and I love it! New season is coming soon and I cant wait! I'm already ready to record!
And the set is very cool and unique with the turning chairs and all. And it actually is as big as it looks. It's like an actual stadium set up. I love it. I want to go in person this upcoming season. The show films right here in
L.A so why not.

The voice is way better and more entertaining than American Idol. Nothing against American Idol but this is the best singing show on tv right now. This is where it's at!
5. Fashion Police This is a great show for fashion trends/ red carpet looks etc. It's fun and insightful when it comes to learning things about fashion. Best and worst dressed/ What works and what doesn't etc.. When I first gave it a try, I didn't love it right away. I'm not necessarily a fan of Joan Rivers or anything but I got use to her lol. And they really upped her fashion since she's been on the show. The stylists dress her really nice and also exciting for an older woman. Juliana and Kelly have very good fashion tips and critique. So a must watch if you are into fashion and trends like me.
6. E News! And lastly E News! I will say this show has really upped their game and ever since they hired Terrence Jenkins, I'm addicted to this show!!! I use to watch here and there until he came on and then I found myself watching it all the time. I use to watch him on 106 & park which was a big reason I watched that show also. He just knows how to make the show fun and lively!. It's just crazy to see how much he's moved up! Since he's been on E news they've also just made the show more fun in general. It seems more like a family there and they have little fun clips of what goes on in the studio a little bit/ joking around/ caroling at Christmas etc.. and it just seems like a little work family on tv which I really like. Now for the show in general, like I've said this is the mecca for all things pop culture and gossip. Everything that happens in Hollywood, on the magazines and behind the scenes is on this show. They also have fashion segments where you can get the Hollywood looks for less/ seasonal trends etc which I love!
So those are my 6 shows that are juicing up my DVR right now. This is definitely girl central tv. It changes as seasons end and new shows begin. Just a little bit of fun to get you through the work week ya know?
