Hey everyone!!! We are already in the month of December! Can't believe it!  The year goes by soo freaking fast. I wish it would sloow down. After this month, I will have been a blogger for 1 full year strong!!! Crazyness!  Today I just wanted to do a small collective beauty review! A little bit of products, little bit of samples and a little bit of gifts!  One of my favorite things is makeup so I am very excited to show and review all these products! Diamonds are a girls best friend? Nah. Makeup is!

I'll start with the Lancome paris mascara in "deep black" which is the one farthest to the left.  This company is a little more high end but overall kind of in the middle.  I like to start from outer to inner so I'll start with the packaging.  The packaging is very sleek and glamorous.  Black and gold is a very glamorous combination. It seems marketed towards the older girl but still very nice.  It's very chic and minimal and feels good in your hands.  It's kind of the perfect size. Here's what it looks like opened.

Sorry for how sucky this picture is but you can see the jist of how it is when opened.  The wand is very long and slim.  It has a very neat and compact look. Kind of perfect for your purse.  As far as the way that it applies, It's kind of slightly awkward with how long the wand is in my personal opinion.  Some may like that but the wand is too long for me.  And the bristles are very short and compact so it applies very light. It almost feels like it's barely going on so you have to keep applying just to see a little difference.  So the combination of the long wand and short bristles are not really something I like.  And as far as the formula, It's hard to tell if the formula is light or if that is the way the wand applies it.. either way, this mascara doesn't take the cake. In this case, more money does not equal more better. 

 Then, the Nxy Baby doll lash!  I love the packaging for this one. So cute! This one is less glamorous but more cute and I like it the same.

 

This wand is kind of like the basic wand. Basic price and size.  A little on the thin side with the brush. But not as thin as the Lancome Paris.  It applies more or less the same.  From what I see with mascaras, Whether you go up or down on the spectrum, it's all relatively the same but occasionally you will find something that has a wow factor. This one is not one of those lol.  It's just a regular cute mascara and applies on the thin side so it doesn't take the cake either.

And the rest of these believe it or not were all gifts! lol Yes.  This is why I love Sephora.  You get gifts just for shopping!
They are samples granted but still so great.  You get to try new brands for free and get cute little knickknacks.

I'll start with the sugar tinted lip treatment.  It looks like this.

It's basically a fancy chap stick lol.  But much more moisturizing and with a slight tint that is really pretty.  It kind of makes your lips look like rose petals to me.  It's a very pretty tint.  This is the gift I think I've seen them give out most.  And the smell is really nice! I can't really describe the scent really. But its not a familiar scent that smells like everything else.  When you smell it, it will be different from anything else.  So that's a thing.  It's very signature. I will just say it's VERY sweet and a unique scent.  Here is what it looks like opened! 

     
Again, sorry for the mess in the back. ugh. But as you can see its a very moist and creamy treatment. And VERY soft. Like butter. It's too soft actually.  It's so soft that you have to press soo lightly on your lips or it will break the stick.  And when you even do that, it lathers it on too much!  Just from this alone, it makes me not like it.  It kind of just falls apart on your lips.  There's no form.  I do like to lather things on but not a lip treatment and its just so like creamy and buttery and falling apart that it's messy.

Then the next sample which is the third from the right.  The Buxom mascara.  I already kind of reviewed this product but this one is a sampler and kind of a little different.  This one is compact for your purse and has a different wand and package so I decided to review it too.  Again, with the whole buxom thing, the packaging is nice but once you open it, that's when the weird shyt happens again.  You don't screw it on like most mascaras.  It just pops open and BAM there it is. lol The wand is very short. It looks like this.

 It's too short! lol Very strange.  The bristles are damn near touching the cap! lol But I get that it is suppose to be compact.  Then when you apply with this applicator, because its so short, its very weird. I don't know if they sell these sizes for your purse like on the go or anything but if they did, I wouldn't recommend it.  It's just a very weird application.

Then, the smash box mascara that is the second from the left!  So so far I'm already kind of really liking smash box the company. The mascara on the other hand along with the buxom is just ok.  The applicator is much better with a screw on cap but the buxom brush is actually better than the smashbox.  It looks like so. 

    

It's just to round of a brush and to short of a stick basically.  Those two make for not a good combination.  It feels very odd to apply with this. Again, I don't know if they actually seell these for like on the go in your purse but if they do, nah to these. lol 

And we are nearing the end. Oh my! I saved the best for last.  I already LOOOVE the Anastasia brand and sephora was giving out little goodie bags!

In this cute kind of burgundy bag you got a little eye mask and lipgloss! so cute!  I think that is such a cute combination. The bag looks like this. I went ahead and put everything I was going to review in it.

It's super soft and lush. And the back strap is white lace.  Looks like so. 

So cute right!  I thought it was kind of perfect.  It's like sci fi meets beauty to me.  Or like tech meets beauty which is kind of perfect.  It kinda looks like it was made for a beauty blogger exactly.  And the best part is the lipgloss!  This is MY NEW FAV lipgloss!!

It's the Anastasia Beverly Hills Lipgloss in "MOI".  It's kind of like a really pretty samon color.  It seems like it would be universally flattering too. Like flattering to all women and on all skin types.  For me, I feel like it brightens my face up and just makes me look soft and soo pretty.  Something about this lipgloss makes my whole face look prettier. No joke.  The formula is soo nice and high quality and the packaging is just very sleek and glam and pretty!  It's kind of perfect!  The only down side is the applicator.  It looks like this.

   But it isnt a brush applicator like it looks like and like I thought it would be.  It's plastic.. You can see it better when I wiped of some of the product.

So yeah, it's like a plastic piece.  And the way it feels like when you apply is like a hard plastic. It feels hard on your lips.  It feels like your putting frosting on a cake with one of those things.  I don't know what you call it. Like a icing spatula. lol  That's exactly what it feels like lol. Like your frosting a cake except it's your lips.  But once you get use to the applicator it's pretty nice.  It applies much better than a sponge applicator because the sponge really just absorbs all the product.  With this one, it actually puts on the product onto your lips and actually applies pretty well too once you get the hang of it.  But the best applicators for lipgloss will always be brushes. So I was kind sad this wasnt a brush at first.  But honestly, I like everything else about this lipgloss soo much that I can forgive that.  I really love this lipgloss.  It is my absolute favorite right now! 

And that is the end of this collective beauty review!! yay! We did it.  Believe it or not this takes me a good few hours or so but it's a labor of love. No complaints. But when I finally ge tto the end it feels like I crossed the finish like of a big race or something. lol  This should have been up Monday.  I apologize for that.  I was so horribly under the weather.  It was terrible.  Still kind of am but MUCH better today!

(everything you've wanted to know about the law of attraction and how it works!)

Hey everyone!!! I am very excited about this article today because I have been reading up about the law of attraction recently!  I already knew of it for a few years now but I got into reading about it again more and kind of reignited my excitement about it.  But I have already been practicing it and  I can say from personal experience that it works!!! 

I feel like everyone has heard about the law of attraction by this point, probably through the secret documentary or book and have a general idea of it.  You put your wants out into the universe, and you get them!  Ask and you shall receive kind of thing.  But I find the secret, (though I really like it) to be very vague and misleading.  I am writing this article today to break down what the secret is actually saying and also give a better book recommendation for understanding it!  So let's get into it!

So what is the Law of Attraction exactly?  The Law of Attraction is the magnetic power of the universe that draws similar energies together. (Like attracts Like basically)  So in applying this to life, positive thoughts/energy are magnets for positive life experiences while negative thoughts/energy are magnets for negative life experiences!  

So it isn't, put your request out there, and wait for it to come basically. Like expecting it and trying to be positive and patient while you wait.  This is what I use to think a few years back.  I thought that you ask the universe and try to stay in believing that it will come to you, and if you ever stop having hope or believing, then it cancels the energy.  But that is completely wrong!

The correct way is to BE positive/ have positive energy about the things you want and naturally, those things will just show up in your life! Speak and feel positively as much as possible!  I've really been trying to do this this year. 

The positive energy within vibrates out into the universe and similar energy will come back to you!  This is where karma comes from as well.  Whats important to understand is we are all energy.  Each of us is a being but we are also a metaphysical being (an energy).  So there is the practical and then the metaphysical side of life. A lot of times we try to fix things in our lives practically.  You need to fix your grades, study more.  You need to find a job, job hunt.  You need to pay your morgage, practical solution. But our energy is the other half and is equally important.  We need to have a positive, open and receptive energy to things changing as well or it never will.

It's not only being positive and open about the things you want to change.  Your energy has to be aligned with the things you want. Basically you make yourself feel how you imagine you would feel if you had all the finances for Christmas covered already.  You act like you already got it.  It's that fake it till you make it kinda thing.  Act and feel like its taken care of and it will be taken care of! This is why watching your thoughts is so important.  We think thousands of thoughts a day and sometimes unconsciously, were thinking all this negative stuff all the time about everything and don't even know.  You gotta monitor your thoughts!

Fake it till you make it is really just a popular phrase and some may not like it because it seems like a fake kind of happiness or fake feelings or whatever.  But really it's an expression that basically is saying, take charge of your feelings.  Don't let your feelings take charge of you. When your feelings want to go one way, it can be hard, but stop them in their tracks and tell yourself that YOU are choosing the way your going to feel and not your feelings.  It may feel weird at first if your feelings are always kind of govering how you feel maybe even a little fake but its a natural transition into YOU being in control. 

A year or so back, I woke up really late and I was rushing and driving to school.  I was paranoid about being late but I was trying to just not worry and try the whole law of attraction thing.  So I told myself, I know it looks like I'll be late but I wont!  I won't be late.  I even started to feel it some. And looking out through my windshield, one by one all of the cars started kind of magically moving out of the way and making the road clear!  It was so weird!  They didn't just like move and drive out the way.  It literally looked like a force pushed them all out the way.  If you've ever seen the movie Bruce almighty, you know the scene where Jim Carey first got his powers and was driving and moved all the traffic out of the way.  It was literally like that but less dramatic lol.  But as I started to look at the clock, I started getting nervous and anxious feeling.  Slowly all the cars started to come back in the way.  At the time I was thinking, what's going on?  I'm telling myself that I'll be on time and it looks like I'm not gonna make it!  I made it to school..late.  And the whole time I was thinking what happened and never understood until now.  Now I see that my feelings changed to feeling nervous and anxious and that was the problem. When that happened, the situation matched with my feelings and more traffic started coming and then I was naturally late. 

You really have to watch your thoughts.  And you have to make sure your feelings are aligned with what you want which can be very hard.  That can be the hard part because it's hard to ignore the situation that's actually happening and make yourself feel what you want to happen while still in the situation. It's kind of a constant battle of the mind.  You have to make sure your mind is always in the right space.    

And the last and final most important key is gratitude!  Gratitude, gratitude, gratitude!!!  You have to be grateful.  Without being grateful, there is no way more can come in the department you want because you aren't having the right energy for it to come into your life.  And even if somehow it does, it doesn't really matter anyway because a person who isn't grateful wont see it as more or notice it anyway.  When that comes they will just focus on other problems because that is the way they are. Gratitude is key! "It's hard to feel grateful and bad about something at the same time." So if your grateful, it guarantees not to feel bad. 

This isn't the easiest thing.  I'm still working on it myself but if you think about it, all things in life require work.  I haven't manifested everything I've ever wanted but i can tell you I have manifested a number of things already in this year alone!

So to recap:

1. Be positive (good) energy.  Always try your best to be positive and positive about all things.  This way, for the thing that your wanting, you will be positive about it!  You won't think of it from a place of lack or think negative things about it but rather just think of it as something good that you are expecting.

2. Already act and feel the things you would feel if you had it.  Don't let this slip into lack and thinking about how you don't have that now.  Just think on the good about what you want.

3. Gratitude. The most important step! Be grateful and it will give you all the feelings your searching for in the present.  

If you really think about it, we don't really want anyTHING.  We don't want money for bills, excess to shop some more, a relationship, to loose weight, success in a career or being an impressive person.  We don't want any of that.  We want the FEELING it gives us.  We don't want things. We want feelings. Gratitude helps us tap into the feeling minus the thing which is what we really want anyway.

Adam Levine Rant!!!!!!

Adam Levine Rant!!!!!!

As a preface, I'll mention that I actually really like Adam Levine.., but Adam Levine's videos? Noooooooooooooo!!!!

OMG! NO! I already didn't like his videos and then he created this...  And it's very sad really because this is my jam! (the "Animal" song) like this is my SONG in the car!  It kind of made me give this video a chance actually. I loved the song so much that when the video came on tv, I was like ok, let me watch.

Then I see Adam Levine..

and THEN, feeling and rubbing on himself with his dirty bloody hands!!!  And this is not even all of what was disturbing about this video.  In general, Adam Levine's videos are so awful that I wanna cry after, but THIS though.. this takes it to a whole other level!!!

Everything about this video is aaawful! I swear he writes the treatments for these videos because they are all equally awful in the same way every time!  In this one he plays a butcher/ creepy stalker of this girl. And uh.. he played that role a little too well! Oh god! Men should not play roles like that! The heck! It's kinda like, your already creepy.. You don't need to enhance it! But this wouldn't be sexy if a girl did this either. It's just plain awful really.  Its like, was this suppose to be seexy... or what? I'm confused.. I don't understand.  I say this because he was in a meat locker (shirtless) rubbing blood on his body in a sexual way.  It's like, the fuck Adam Levine!  Please stop!  

In his defense, Adam Levine is a sexy guy.  He was voted sexiest man of the year and he is a great singer. It's just these damn videos!  Even before this animal video, I have never been into it. I actually stopped watching his videos a long time ago.  If I think back to him cuddling in bed on the beach, and then the bed transporting to different places. lol  They have all been just awful.  The stories are always waay too complex for a music video.  And I suspect this is why he isn't more popular because when you think about it, he has everything to be more popular than he is.  A great unique singing voice, attractive, and above all those things, big hit songs on the radio all the time.  I really think the culprit is these videos. lol.  They are soo awful that they put him under the radar I think.  I do give credit for him being creative or whatever writer he uses that comes up with these ideas but its just horrible in the end.  It feels like he tries to create an entire movie in his music videos and there is just TOO much going on!  You can't make an entire movie fit into 3 minutes.  And then the stories themselves... are just god awful.  You just wanna have a cry after but after THIS video though, I kind of feel scarred.. And I will probably never watch another Adam Levine music video again. Nope. I can't take it. lol  I will just stick to listening to his songs on the radio and nothing more!

(Simple Breakdown) 

"A painting implies a painter.." 

Hey everyone!  Today I wanted to talk about a question that is probably one of the more important questions we could ever ask.  How do we know there is a creator of the universe? Philosophers and thinkers over the ages have narrowed things down into a few possibilities.   

There are 3 main theory's to discuss.

1. The universe created itself.

2.The universe is eternal.

3. -or-  The universe does in fact have a creator.

This is a simple common sense breakdown.  
Let's start with the first one.  The universe created itself.  Now in order for the universe to create itself, it would have already had to be in existence.  The universe would have had to already been in existence to create itself and this is philosophically impossible. So this theory can be scratched!

So lets go to the next one which is, the universe is eternal.  This theory has already been rejected by the scientific community. Why?  Discoveries like the Second Law of Thermodynamics, the motions of the galaxies and many other scientific discoveries have pointed to an actual beginning of the universe.  Science has shown that the universe has not always existed and therefore is not eternal so this theory can be scratched as well!

This only leads to a final conclusion which is that there was some kind of creator.  Without much deep digging, it's something that is kind of obvious.  When we look at any object, a creator is implied without having to actually see them.  When we see a painting, a painter is only naturally implied. What proof do you need to conclude that a painter exists?  A building would be considered an intellectual design and to think that it magically created itself (going back to the universe creating itself, the big bang theory and such) has enormous faults in it.  It's like saying a tornado swept through a town and magically made a functioning automobile.
  
So with all this being said, what about god?..

Well if you think about it, "Something" had to have always existed.. If there was a time when absolutely nothing existed, nothing would exist now.

All about Lashes!!!

All About Lashes!!! <3

Hey Everyone!!!  I was gonna write this Monday but I just couldn't wait!  I hope you all are having a wonderful Wednesday.  Today I wanted to do an article aaall about laaashes!  Lashes is another obsession of mine!  I looove lashes. I heart lashes! lol I don't really leave the house without them. I don't do any makeup look without it for the most part either.  Lashes are a way of life (or at least for me it is)!  So today I just wanted to do a little lashes talk 101(for newbie makeup users).

Brands and where to Buy <3:

So by now there are sooo many brands/styles to choose from and prices range from around $2-$200 from what I've seen around.  I know. Crazy right! For eyelashes! but yeah.  It's quite a range.  I've seen a lot on instagram as well.  Brands like sugar pill that go for around $7-$9.  This is the general price for them at beauty stores like sally's which is a popular place to get lashes.  I like to go the more affordable route for lashes and I've been using a brand called Cherry Blossom for years.  It's one of my fav brands and these go for $1.99 so 2 bucks.  Not bad.  And these are actually 100% human hair also.  These can be purchased at any regular beauty supply store.  You can see what they look like below! 

I like to get them thick and fake lol.  I don't care about it looking realistic.  I actually prefer the fake look.  I like super thick and long lashes.  Cherry Blossom carries many styles and also much thinner and realistic looking ones for those looking for that look.  I also prefer the strip lashes like these which tends to add to the fakeness but I love it!  And also these are the easiest to apply!  I'll go over how to apply in just a bit.

Types of Lashes<3:

 There are 2 types of lashes essentially.  There are the strip ones like the ones above. These are the lashes that are already on a strip so you just put them on all in one step.  Then there are the individuals that look like this.

Doesn't that already look complicated?  ugh.  But some people like these because you have more control over how your lashes look in the end.  Also, people who get these tend to want the more natural look.  They come in little bundles and you just place them where you would like to add fullness to your natural lashes.  

Also, the nail shop now does lashes so they professionally put on these individual kind of lashes for you.  It's a little different though.  They use a certain adhesive to where they stay on for a certain amount of weeks I believe.  You can shower in them and everything.  This cost about $60 but the price ranges from place to place.  I think they also do this at some beauty counters as well.  I've seen them and it looks gorgeous!  Better than strips and doing it by yourself.  You can really see the difference with having it professionally done.

The best Adhesive!<3:  

There is also 2 types of adhesives or main adhesives.  You have the squeezy tube and then the ones where you apply it on with a brush.  I used all my duo lash glue (the squeezy tube) but it looks like this.

This is the best one of the options.  The brush one seems as if it would be best but I'll show you why it isn't.  I have some that I've been using and they look like this.

    

These are a black and white adhesive by Revlon. But look.  Here's why it's not good.  First, It's already difficult to apply to the lash (like trying to brush onto a flimzy lash), then after time, the brush ends up looking like this.

   

All the bristles end up sticking out all over the place and it makes it even harder to apply. Lesson learned.  I will never buy brush glue again lol.  Also, getting colored adhesive seems as if it would be the best but its very messy.  It usually doesnt dry clear and also, applying black glue to a black eyelash isnt really the best either.  You can't see how much your applying or if you got the whole strip etc because it just blends it.  With the white glue, you can actually see what your applying and it drys completely clean.  So word from the wise, just get white duo lash glue (the squeezy tube kind).  This can be purchased at all stores.  It's the most popular adhesive (and for good reason I've learned lol).  Any beauty store (off brand/on brand) should have it.  

Now how to apply<3:  

Applying can be tricky.  It can actually be kinda stressful if your new to it.  There's been some days where I was like f that!.. ripped off the lashes and just walked out the house lol.  But once you get it, it becomes easy as pie and takes like 2 seconds.  There's no right way to do it but here's how I do it.  First, I use tweezers to apply.  Not my fingers.  This helps me a lot in precision.  I have the lash in the tweezers and I apply the adhesive to the lash.  I blow on it and wait a bit for it to get tacky, get very close to the mirror and set it in the center of my lid.  I wait a few seconds, then pin down the edges and it's good to go!  2 steps and you go from regular to drama!! 

And those are all the lashes basics!

(Blog Revamp!!!)

Hey everyone!  Tis Monday again.  That means "the good wendy" is on today.  What I mean by that is the entire show is hot topics which is the best part of the show.  Dancing with the stars is on today!  Man I been missin this aall week.  For some reason, it feels like it's been 2 weeks since I last seen it.  I had to check my dvr to be sure lol.  By the way, DVR's are like heaven in a little box!  I feel like dvrs should be just the way of life. Like a normal thing.  Like how the majority of people have smartphones these days.. Like it's just a way of life now.  Everyone should have dvrs like that. And of course last but not least, an article from me! =) 

This week I just wanted to go over a few updates with TrixieLuxx!  If you been reading you may or may not have seen the "blog revamp" I did a little bit ago.  I loooove it!  It's by way of laptop (the full version) so if you haven't checked it out, check it out!  I do kinda wish that my older blogs would stay in the old style just for like chronicling purposes but it's one continuous page so if I change one, I change it all.  But I do have a pic of the old TrixieLuxx that I took before hand.

I love it soo much!  Also! I added a feature where this blog can be translated into 80 different languages!  The feature is at the bottom underneath my profile.

Then you just select your language like so.

I selected Japanese.  Then you just wait a few seconds so it can translate and 

viola! You can read it in that language! I thought that was really cool.Ever since I started this blog, I noticed how international it was from the very start.  I get a lot of views from all over the world and I think that's SO freaking amazing!  The internet truly makes the world so small.  I love how I can write an article and it can reach someone in China or Israel and all these places.  It's like this platform to reach the world!

Happy Halloween Readers!!!!! 

Fall is a wonderful time.  It's a time to dress up, go shopping,enjoy the beautiful overcast skies and so fourth.  Fall is my FAV season if you didn't know and though it's still kinda hot in cali ( though it has cooled down =) ), there is still magic in the air!  This is my Halloween article for this year so I am saying an early happy Halloween to all of you!!!  

I am all about the budgeting so I came up with a super cute {$10 DOLLAR LOOK} for moms out there shopping for your little ones and pre teens and even inspiration for yourselves!  I just love this kind of shopping and getting creative and I hope it gives inspo to ppl wanting to be festive budgetnista style!!! Let's get into it!!

I dressed my little sis up this Halloween and it was super fun!  She said she wanted to be a vampire but also.. Ariana Grande lol.  So we decided to go for a vampire Ariana Grande look.  The first thing I got was this.

   
The majority of the things were from a company called Happy Halloween.  This was my first time trying this company and I would say it's very good quality stuff for the price!! No complaints!  This was a decorative choker necklace with lace at the top and bottom.  I got this for $1 dollar!  Yes!! lol  By the way, I will list below all the prices for every single item mentioned and where I purchased them! 

The second thing I got was too pretty to not get!  It's a glitter mask, also from Happy Halloween.  Isn't that pretty?  I decided to make it a vampire/ masquerade look.  It doesn't seem to match in theory but actually came out very very pretty. I think it makes it unique and also adds a sultry kind of touch to it.   

The next thing we got was a bouquet of black roses and 2 silver pearl necklaces! 

These are the accessories and prop.  I thought the black bouquet was super pretty!  (By the way, I went to a discount Halloween store in Torrance that had single black roses for double the price of this whole bouqet!)  I got the silver pearls to add more pizzazz to the outfit!

I also got a little Halloween makeup!

    

These were the products that I wasn't too impressed with but we made it work.  The fake scar was the worst.  Its just a brown creamy substance.  Whatever it is your suppose to do with that, I could have did with whatever I have at home in my makeup box.  But the fake blood was good.  Very realistic looking.  Much better than trying to create the look with red lipstick or a pencil.  I also got the blanc (white) cream for a ghostly pale look! 

Now on to the outfit! 

  

I got this shimmery, kind of lacy and tattered skirt for a girly look.  These skirts and all the skirts they had actually run very small.  My sister is very skinny so she was able to fit.  I think the skirts weren't for her age group (pre teen/teens).  They were meant for like kid kids so for things like this, that's something to keep in mind.  You just have to work with what you can when on a budget.  

I layered this purple fluffy ballerina skirt on top to add a pop of color.  I wanted it to be dark but not like a gothic look so I decided to make the theme black and purple.

  
The next thing I got is technically a garland.  It's a pretty glittery and sparkly bat garland with sequin.  I love anything that is sequin!  I used this as kind of like a belt so that the bats hang over the skirts to add a pattern to it.

And the rest of all the things are from home!  You just get creative!  I went with an all black outfit so black jeans and a slinky black top with a black mini sweater on top. And black heels to match! I added a black studded belt of mine to hide the seams of the skirt.  I also added a few accessories of mine which is the big silver ring with the purple stone and the glitzy bracelet. For earrings, we went with just regular studs since that's what Ariana Grande seems to wear.  Then you just start layering and decorating!  She said she wanted to look like Ariana Grande so I looked up some tutorials for Ariana Grande looks on youtube.  I just typed in Ariana Grande hair tutorial. I also looked at a few pictures to get the idea for makeup and hair.  Makeup and hair are the bigger parts of the outfit to me.  I think most attention should be paid there.  We started by straightening all her hair bone straight and then I did half up, half down in a really high pony tail.  I then took a strand from the back of the pony tail and   wrapped it around to create a hair band around the pony tail.  I made a part to the side and pulled all her hair in front.

For makeup, I used the Ulta Beauty Treasures kit.(i'll link the whole review below just in case you haven't seen. 70 piece kit at Ulta for only 20 bucks. Makeup box included!) 

For makeup I used the "brownie" shade for her lids and under the eye.  I also used the Ulta lipstick in "raisin". 

 I used a lemonade highlighter for under the brows from benefit.  I used my Anastasia brow wiz for the brows. Blush,liner, mascara and then the look was done!

Not too bad I think. And she loved it!  She said this has been her most favorite Halloween costume she ever had!  And all her costumes before have been at least $60+ usually from party city and random Halloween stores.Costumes are expensive!! And that's even when you don't get all the accessories/ shoes and extra stuff.  This has actually been my favorite Halloween costume of hers too and only $10 bucks!

I saved the best for last.  I mentioned earlier that I would tell you the price of each item listed and where I got it.  Everything mentioned in this article was 99 cents!!! And everything was purchased at your local 99 cents store!!!

Crazy right?!! lol yep. frugality is an art really.
