LACF!!! (LA County Fair)

I went to the LACF this week for the first time and ooomg!! I

 am OBSESSSSED with the la county fair now!! I think I will

 officially be going every year from this point.  If you never 

been, you MUST go!  I feel like it is a must have experience!

  It's like a carnival on steroids! lol  There's music, food, 

games, live shows.. which I didn't know.  Power 106 was 

there.  There's Animals.  I think I seen like 5 animals I've

 never seen in my entire life. And I've been to a number of 

zoos and museums. It looks like everything in the world is

 there.  And they are my type of shows too!  It's like magic,

 trapeze, theatrical like shows.  It really was like another 

world honestly.  At one point, I 

literally felt like I was in some gypsy carnival movie! And 

they have the craziest food! Like not normal food. But it's

 AMAZZZING!  Ok.  So the LACF is like a fat persons 

heaven. A fat persons paradise if you will and uh..  there is

 no such thing as diets there lol.(If you watch the cleveland 

show at all, there's an episode where cleveland jr and kendra

 go to Wisconsin in search of a fat persons paradise kind of

 thing.)  If you saw that episode, the fair is basically that! lol  I

 think I saw only 1 place that actually had a salad unless I 

was just blinded by everything else.  But that kinda place

 feels like eat and be merry.  People were dancing in the

 streets.  It's like live, drink and be merry!  That's the kind of 

vibe that's there.  Everybody looks like they were

 on their cheat day at the same time! lol  Needless to say this

 was my cheat day FOREAL!  I had the Emeril BAM dog! lol.

Pinks which I didn't know they had at the fair either and it was

soo good!  This is the Hollywood landmark pinks that celebs

 famously visit.  The pic above is of a random guys hot dog at

 the fair.  It was literally the biggest hot dog I ever seen in my

 life!! lol  I had to take a picture!  The picture doesn't even do

 justice! lol  Also, there was a gigantic expo right in the 

middle of it which was basically a giant shopping 

extravaganza.  But not normal shopping.. EPIC shopping!

  Like hot tubs, pools, cars, stuff like that!  

I loved this place, seriously!  I think I do better justice to it

than there own website.  Seeing it from the site or even the

 commercial doesn't really do justice.  You just have to go 

and see for yourself.  Anyways, I think I'll end this article

 here.  Dancing with the stars is coming on in just a bit and 

you know I'ma be watching! lol

(Detailed Review)

Good Evening everyone!  Sorry for the delay on this blog.  I was meaning to write this last night (Monday), my actual blog day but some crazy commotion happened in my neighborhood.  There were cops everywhere, a guard dog and a detective too.  It was just crazy.  At one point, they came into MY backyard and brought the police dog back there and like 5 cops were aggressively searching back there.  The whole neighborhood was on lock down and it lasted all the way into the night.  It was just a crazy mess.  

Anyways, Everything is good.  They ended up finding nothing and I was so relieved when it was over.today is a new day!  And because of all the commotion yesterday, I am even more thankful!  

Well, let me just get onto what this article is REALLY about! lol.  If you follow me on instagram or twitter, you may have saw that a few weeks ago, I purchased a waist trainer which is the pic above.  I wanted to really test it out before I gave a review.  I'll quickly go over the pros and cons and other details about this product.

but first, what is waist training?  

Waist training is a practice that women have been doing for a very long time and has recently come back in style (in a new form). What it does is train your mid section to be smaller.

Some say that only real waist training is done with corsets which is also known as corset training.  Most others say that a "waist cincher" (what I purchased) is waist training and call it a waist cincher or waist trainer.  This product is much different than a corset.  It is also much different than a body shaper or girdle or spanx.  I would say as far as intensity goes, there's corset.. which is the highest intensity,then waist cincher, then girdle/spanx/body shaper.  

What does it do?  (benefits/pros)

Ok.  So I've tested this out for a good 2 weeks or so and there are soo many benefits to wearing a waist cincher! Even beyond loosing weight! It's amazing!

The first thing I noticed is your posture is drastically improved!! Like VERY drastically!  I have a slouching problem and with the cincher on, that problem is gone because you physically can't slouch in it lol.  It's very hard and uncomfortable to. Especially when you first start with it and it is very stiff.  When in the car with it, It was so awkward that I had to adjust my seat drastically from what it was to feel normal.  Now my seat is Super straight and I can't even tell the difference.  The second thing is it actually gives you a breast lift! lol.  It's weird.  I didn't expect it to do all that! lol  I read/watched a lot of reviews and nobody said anything about that or other things I experienced while using it but this is a very DETAILED review. Not only does it give a slight breast lift, they also appear to be bigger somehow with it on! lol. I know. That's crazy.  I don't know if that's just my experience because I'm a curvy girl and also I already have big breasts so idk, maybe it's because of the body type I already have.  The feeling is like those corsets with straps and your breast are just like spilling over the top or something lol.  So there's that.  Another perk is let's say your just trying to loose 5 pounds or so and you want to have a slimmer mid section.  If you wear this under your clothes or while working out, it already gives you the illusion of having lost the 5 pounds literally!  It sucks you in a good 3 to 4 inches I'd say.  Especially when first starting.  For those of us looking to loose more, it still gives a nice and smoothe look to your mid section and also defines an hour glass figure! ^_^  Another thing I experienced with it is when on your cycle, you don't feel bloat whatsoever!  It's too tight to feel the bloat so that was a good bonus!  And lastly, if you still aren't sold,  I did loose 2 inches from my waist which is the best perk!  2 whole inches!!  That's a lot for me in this very short time so I'm very happy with the results.  This is with good diet and exercise of course! 

Details about MY cincher

The one I purchased is the sports cincher so it's like a workout cincher.  It is specifically for being able to work out in.  You can also wear it throughout the day like a normal cincher.  It is a rubber elastic like material on the exterior but the interior is a nice soft absorbent cloth all around so you don't just put cold rubber on your skin.  Also, no creams involved unless you want to purchase and add that to your waist training.  Personally, I don't like all that cold cream stuff.  It just looks messy.  So the product is very comfortable to wear as far as the material is concerned.  I really like that I'm not putting cold latex on my skin everyday.  It comes with two lines of hooks in the front.  The first is where they recommend you to start and as you loose, you can go to the next line of hooks. I'm already at my second line of hooks! 

Cons

Some of the negatives is it's not the most comfortable thing to wear as you would expect.  It's much more intense than spanx or shapewear so be prepared!  It's very uncomfortable to lounge in it also.  When you first start wearing it, it almost feels uncomfortable to sit.  Then as you break it in some and get used to it, you can sit and lay down and everything but its still a very tight feeling.  It makes you not want to sit and lounge but I kind of feel like that's a good thing.  Once I start waist training, I feel like I want to be active and not sit.  For anyone interested in corset training but hasn't done any kind of waist training before, I would recommend starting with this first.  Another thing I noticed is with time, It gives more which can kind of feel like it's not working.  I think it's a combination of you getting use to it and the rubber stretching from wear and tear of working out in it or pulling on it.  It can take a lot of pull also.  It seems so stiff like it can't at first but it definitely can.  It's a very tough material.  One of the days while wearing it, I had A LOT of spaghetti  And when I put my cincher on the next day it was TIGHT!!! lol  So that let me know that it gives but it doesn't completely give because it's staying somewhat true to size. lol.  Also I kept measuring with it on and off to see about the product giving and I'd say it stays decently true to size.  Another thing is while working out, I experienced some chaffing with it.  I didn't hear about that with other reviews but it happened to me so I got some chaff marks on the top of my stomach and back from working out in it and just being in it I think.  I think the top rubbed my skin the wrong way or something but I haven't had that problem since.

Things to know! 

When you first get it, It will be so stiff and tight that it will feel like you got the wrong size!  But don't fret because that's how it's suppose to be.  It's a struggle to get it on the first time but once you do, it becomes much easier afterwards.  I've heard people on youtube who have done reviews say this but I'll tell you why this happens.  It becomes easier to put on because the product becomes less stiff and gives more but doesn't loose its true size.  Also, the hooks give more then when you put it on the first time and you just naturally will become better at it and find your method so it wont be as difficult!

What's in my DVR! <3

Happy Monday Everyone!  Monday can be such a dread sometimes.  Back to school, back to work, back to the worries of your life but dread not.  This article will be giving you the hottest things on TV right now to add some fun and entertainment to your work week!  Tonight, I wanted to talk about what's hot in my DVR right now and what YOU should have in your DVR to keep it spicy!  This is girl central tv so if you aren't a girl/ladyboy or think the television was the invention of the devil lol.. then feel free to click out.  Let's get started!! 

Ok so I'll start with my most FAAV show on TV right now and that is none other than Dancing with the Stars!!!

1.  Dancing with the stars!!! <333

Dancing with the stars is like the best show ever!!! It never gets boring.  It never gets tired out.  I am obseeesssed!  I thought it would be only right to write this article tonight because guess what?  Tonight is the season premiere!!! yayyy!!! lol.  I've really actually missed dancing with the stars.  It's been sad not having it in my DVR and I was legit feeling a void in my heart but it's BACK!!!  Dancing with the stars season 19 premieres tonight!  Here's a pic of the new cast!

Yes.  That's Alfonso Ribeiro (Carlton) from Fresh Prince in the middle! lol.  I am excited about Betsey Johnson too!  And for the first time ever, they are having a youtuber dance! what?!!  Yeah.  Bethany Mota (the DIY queen) will be there representing!  Youtubeing is officially official because they literally are in movies, tv shows and just literally everything!  Also,  I'm going live this time to the premiere!! =))) Very excited!! 

2. Dating Naked!!

 Before you judge, hear my plea. Ok.  So I think I heard of this show first on Wendy and literally a second went by and I was like uh. Nope.  I have absolutely NO interest in this show.  Then one day I was flipping through channels and caught a few seconds and literally it only took a few seconds and I was hooked!  The idea seems so boring and ridiculous but when you actually watch it, it's 1. hilaarious!!!! lol.  If you follow me on twitter you see me tweeting about it lol.  They have them on these dates butt ass naked..on a tropical island.. (or so it looks to be) and if that wasn't enough, they have them doing these super athletic things that normal people do NOT do on dates!  It is hilarious!  Not only that, but I personally think it shows the reality of dating in a fun tongue and cheek kinda way (no pun intended).lol

The next show is a classic

3. The Wendy Williams show!!!

Of course!  Duh I'm gonna watch this.  It's all the latest things happening in pop culture and the new season premiere was TODAY!!  I was definitely feeling a void with this one because the wendy williams show is apart of my daily life. Tvnista and proud!  I need wendy!  Today she ate the crow as she promised she would if Kim and Kanye's wedding lasted longer than 72 days I believe lol!  

4. Keeping up with the Kardashians.

  Next.  Another classic.  KUWTK.  Might as well since I was leading up to it.  I still love this show.  This is an exciting season because it is all the behind the scenes of Kim's wedding and going to Paris. It really feels like your watching the behind the scenes of iconic moments in pop culture.  It's kinda crazy.

5.  R&B Divas

And last I'll leave with a new one.  R&B Divas!!! (LA) I'll leave E news out because it's kinda self explanatory I think.  R&B divas slowly made it's way into my DVR because it is amazing!  Now that they've added Chrisette Michele, I'm hooked!  And of course I love me some Chante Moore!  I like these shows where people are working at their dreams and trying to make it big in the industry.

And that is what's hot in my DVR!  I hope I gave some good suggestions to keep things spicy so when you start your Monday, you have something to look forward to which is a good show and of course an article from yours truly =)

They're Real Mascara/Liner Product Review!!!

"They're Real" Mascara/Liner Product Review!!! <3

Good evening beauty lovers!! This blog is written in real time which I kind of like because it's like I'm talking directly to you.  Anyways, tonight I'm gonna be doing a product review for "They're Real" Push Up Mascara and Liner.  Have you seen this at Ulta yet?  The packaging is as shown above.

Looks like a quality product right? Seems heavy duty and bold right?..uh. NOT.. This product is the opposite of bold.  Let's discuss the Liner first which is the worst of the two.  

I'll start positively.  I do like the packaging of it.  The bold graphic look and the look of the applicators.  Here is what they look like out of the packaging.  

I like the compactness and just the whole look of the product.  I'll give credit for uniqueness.  When you take off the cap, the tip is shaped in like an old quill pen style which I thought was interesting and kind of neat. Here's a pic of the tip of the applicator.

Cool huh.  Seems like it would actually aid in putting on the liner or just be easier since the tip was slanted.  I thought it would be easy peezy to do a cat eye with it but boy was I wrong.  It was awful guys.  Firstly, the tip of the applicator was completely rubber which is very odd! And flimsy rubber at that! I've never really seen an applicator tip like that.  It felt so odd using it because of that.  The tip of the pen wobbled and moved around because of this which needless to say made for a very messy application =(.  Also, The formula was.. odd also.  It was like a mushy crayon like substance.  The way you replenish the tip is you turn the bottom of it so it replenishes like a lead pencil which I liked that part of it. But the combination of that with the weird formula and of course, that odd rubber tip??  PASSS.  I couldn't imagine that this product would be easy to use for ANYBODY.  ALSO.. not smudge proof and also not waterproof! lol pass, pass and pass again!  I'll stick to my drug store liner thank you very much.  I think I'll go ahead and say this is probably the worst eyeliner I have ever used actually!  #sorrynotsorry.  This is a REAL review page!  

Now onto the Mascara.  The mascara wasn't really awful but at the same time, there isn't really anything special about it..  I think it's just like most mascaras.  Instead, I would go with the Voluminous False Fiber Lash Mascara from Loreal.  This one also has much more product so more bang for your buck for sure.  You can pick this up at your local target or drugstore I believe and also save a few bucks!  

So if you saw "They're Real" Push Up Mascara and Liner and were wondering about it or wanted to get it a try, save your money. Not worth it!  I would like to give this product 3 thumbs down.  How could you benefit? lol kidding.  I still love me some benefit.

How to: The Perfect Red Lips

How to: The Perfect RED Lips <3

Things you'll need:

* eos lip balm
*revlon color stay lip liner in (wine)
*Maybelline 14hour stay lipstick

Step 1.  Moisturize.  This is a very important step that many girls miss.  Moisturize your lips before putting ANY product on.  It seems like an extra and wasted step but this is the step that takes your lips from "OK" to "Perfect!". 

 Start by moisturizing your lips with a lip balm or chap-stick that has a lot of moisture.  I find eos lip balm to be a good prep for lipstick.  It's not too greasy or too dry.  Do not  use lip gloss for this step.  Then take a tissue and clamp your lips down on it to remove the excess. Rub your lips together and with your finger, smear and rub your lips to make sure they are nicely moisturized.

Step 2.  Lip Liner. The next step is lip liner.  You must have your handy dandy lip liner to trace the outer corners of your lips.  This is another important step a lot of girls miss because this is another step that seems like you can go without it.  And sure.. you could go without it but in this article, we are talking about getting the perfect red lips!  I use to see my mom put her lip liner on in the car all the time when I was a little girl and thought it was a waste.  I thought, I could put on lipstick neatly without all that lol. And you CAN put it on relatively neatly but it isn't perfect neat.  There's no way you can take a big crayon like bullet and make it look precise.  There's just no way.

Step 3. Tracing Correctly. Start by tracing from your cupid's bow which is the very center of your top lip and work your way down.  Don't do your entire lip in one stroke.  Do small strokes and go slowly as not to mess up your liner and also because you can tell when someone rushes.  I like to put on my makeup slowly and have fun with it.  This should be a fun thing.  I like to do it slowly and right.  

Once you get to the corner of your lips, keep tracing.  A lot of girls stop tracing here so there is a gap between your top and bottom lip.  For the perfect lips, keep tracing across so that your bottom and top lip are all connected into one. 

Step 4.  Lipstick!  Ok.  So now we are onto the actual lipstick.  All you gotta do is color within the lines like a crayon drawing.  And since your lips are moisturized, there won't be any snagging and it will look beautiful.  Now that we are here, don't rush it and just glob it on.  Take your time with it.  All jobs are done well when you take your time! Taking your time should almost be an actual step because it's important!  When people rush anything, it usually doesn't come out as good as when they make the time to focus on that task solely.  Think of it like cooking.  When you take your time, it comes out just right.  I think they might call that putting love into it lol.  You take your time but also you enjoy doing it.  The last ingredient for putting your lipstick on is love! lol. Gotta have love!  Sometimes, all the difference was that someone took their time. Once you get to the corner of your lips, again, keep going down with the lipstick.  Don't skip that area.  

Step 5. Don't forget your interior.  So now that you are applying the lips and have gotten to the corners and continued, you will notice that your lipstick might have gotten slightly on the interior of your lips.  That's completely fine!  We want to do the interior!  As your going down to your bottom lip, fill in the interior of your bottom and top lip.  This is the part of your lip that you don't see when your mouth is closed but definitely do see when your mouth is open lol.  Have you ever seen a girl with almost all of the interior of her lipstick all off?  It almost looks like just the edges of her lips have lipstick if you can picture that lol.  So definitely apply to the interior.  

Step 6.  Gloss!  And lastly, the gloss!  After you applied your lips perfectly, you can then add your gloss.  Any clear will do.  You only need just a touch and your perfect lips are done!  When you do all these steps, your lips will look like the stars, guaranteed.  You will want to take pictures of them all night!
