What's in my purse 2014!!! <3 




Hey everyone!  I hope you are having a fabulous Monday!  I sure am!  If not, fret not, there is plenty of things to get excited about on Monday!! First, dancing with the stars is on! woot woot.. & of course an article from yours truly!  Today I wanted to do my first ever what's in my purse blog!! Side note: I really wish blogger had emoticons because I'm smiling hard right now! lol  Blogger, I want to share my smile with the world.. lol.  Can you add an emoticon feature pls?  Ok.  This blog will be a little bit long so feel free to get comfy, grab a snack, a drank and let's get into it!!!

Ok.  So if you follow me on insta/twitter, you may have seen a pic of a new purse I just got!  It is the Hello Kitty Loungefly purse in hot pink!! (as shown above) I am in LOOOVE with this purse!!!  It's the perfect shade of pink.  It's hello kitty.  It has a bow on it.  It's everything I love basically.  I don't really think I've ever been so excited about a purse! lol  It's so freaking cute and when you put it on with any outfit, it just ups everything like heels.  It was too pretty to not do a what's in my purse!  I also added some purse jewelry.  It was a hello kitty charm bracelet that didn't fit me so I just went ahead and put it on my purse like so..


I tried a few things with it and just went ahead and put it on the side with the bow.  I think it makes it pop even more.  Here's a peak inside.  


This blog is gonna have a lot of pictures.  More than i usually do but I honestly loove product pictures!  For those of you who like some product porn, this article will be full of it lol.  So here's a look inside.  It's a hard shelled purse that is basically a one pocket purse where everything is kind of piles on top of each other in order to use the space of the purse.  This is one of the downsides to this purse actually though I still love it to death.  You can only be so organized with it.  But cuteness outweighs function sometimes lol.  Technically this purse does have 3 pockets.  A flat zipper pocket against the wall of the purse for receipts and small things, a phone pocket, and another thicker pocket for small things but that pocket can hold a good amount.
And then I emptied my purse completely and here are all the goodies inside! 


I'll go ahead and start first with the makeup bag!  I actually got this makeup bag last year and didn't even use it! shame.. It's in mint condition but it's ok because I'm using it now! 


It's a pink sequin makeup bag. Isn't that cute?!  I got it from trisha's treasure chest.  I'll put the links below if anyone is interested.  It's a very affordable site with super cute stuff!  Here's a peak inside my makeup bag. 

  

It's super cute and the inside is really cute too!  It's all cheetah print on the inside.  I think it adds a really cute touch to the bag. Can you tell I like this print? lol  I have this print everywhere.

  
And here are the contents of my makeup bag!  Girls always have bags in bags don't we? I have a bare minerals foundation powder in tan by the pallete.  This is a very good quality foundation.  I also have the beverly hills anastasia brow wiz I mentioned in my article "My favorite brow pencil".  I'll link that below.  I have two eye shadow brushes I use ALL the time.  One is bare minerals and the other which I LOVE is the rock 'n' roll eye shadow pencil (i.d bare escentuals) I got a few years back in a tutorial kit called "Rocker Eye".  It's a super cute kit that teaches how to do a smokey eye! It looks like so.  



  Mine is all tore up lol, so I had to find a nice picture.lol  What I have in my makeup bag is the brush.  It's a really nice duel sided brush and is one of my favorite brushes!

I'm not sure if sephora stills carries it because it was awhile ago that i bought this. 


Then, I have a blush brush which is the eco tools brush from the eco tools kit I mentioned in my graduation article.  I finally got to try em and I like em!  I do like bare minerals brushes better though.  The thing about these brushes is it really cakes your face.  I don't mind a little cake face but not everyone wants to look like that.  But I find it looks really good in photos so I'm not mad and if I have it, I'm usin it! lol Actually, I use it as a foundation brush.  It doesn't matter to me what kinda brush it is really.  I just use brushes for what I wanna use em for.  There is no rules to makeup and that's what I love about it.  The other brush is a bare minerals brush I've had for years.  I use it as a foundation brush too lol.  Your suppose to use the kabuki brush which is that small little short haired round brush but I don't really like using that for foundation.  I like these better.  Sometimes I use it as a foundation, and sometimes I use it for blush.  Right now, I'm using it for blush. And lastly my voluminious mascara which is my fave mascara.  This can be purchased at any right aid, drug store.  


Next I have the NYK "The Curve Liner" that I did a review on a few months back.  I still use it and love it!  This is a perfect liner for newbie makeup users.  I'll link the review below if you want to know more details, price etc about the product =).  And on the bottom I have the stila convertible color mini compact.  It is convertible so it can be a lipstick and blush too! 
Then lips! 


For lip products, I have the maybelline14 hour stay lipstick.  This is the lipstick I used in the "How to get the perfect red lips" article.  I'll link it below as well.  I have my liquid eye liner which is loreal and my favorite lip stain.  All these (except the one furthest to the left) can be purchased at your local drugstore.  The furthest to the left lippie is a mini laura mercier.  It's a very pretty color I just recently started wearing.  I also have this one lip gloss I've literally been wearing every single day but I can't seem to find anywhere today!  I misplaced it somewhere but I'll find it.  It won't be apart of this article though =(.  It's this really pretty champagne color gloss that I been loving!!  Sometimes, I mix the two together and create a new super cute color of my own!  

woohh.. are you tired yet?  I hope this isn't too much reading or isn't too just like ugh and overwhelming.  Hopefully not.  I have just a few more products to go so let's get through this!  

The next thing is a palette I have.  I've had this for a minute and you'll be able to tell.lol It looks like this.


It's all powdery and cracked lol.  But still good.  I've had this for a minute and as you can see, there is still a very good amount of product left.  i use this when I wanna be very colorful! And that's all of the makeup bag!  Good GOD that felt like a lot! lol.  

I also have a chap stick case that i keep seperate from the makeup bag.


It's a mini burt bees collection.  I really really like this collection and use it all the time.  The chap stick is really moisterising and good quality.


These are 100% natural chap sticks.  It comes with mango butter,acai berry,mint and natural.  And the scent is not a weak, almost not there scent. It's very very strong and really nice!  Sometimes I use this for lipstick prep or I just use it plain.  I love it!  

Ok.  Now OFF MAKEUP!!! And onto another love of mine.  I don't think I've ever said this on here but I LOOOOVE shades!!!!!  Shades is a lifestyle for me.  They are apart of my life.  I honestly am considering a sun glass line one day in the future (god willing) just because I love them that freaking much!!  I almost NEVER leave the house without shades! 


Here is my sunglass holder (of course hello kitty) and also the matching wallet.  I have a matching bag with the same print so it's all like a theme but I took it out because I love this wallet.  It's one of my favorite wallets.  There's so much hello kitty it's kind of sickening lol but I can't help it!

Here are the shades I been wearing
 the past four months or so.  


     These are my movie star shades.  The no pictures please sunglasses lol.  They are thick framed,dark, nice quality and soo cute!  I love the shape of them and I'm always wearing em.  they also have thick frames on the side as well which I love!  It just feels very low key and relaaxed and just good.  These are the sunglasses you wear when you don't have no makeup on.  Put these on and your straight! lol  I also got these at trishas treasure chest.  Only 10 bucks!  You don't need to spend a fortune on a good pair of sunglasses! 

Then I have a few essentials 



Pens!  Always gotta have pens.  I have of course a hello kitty pen.  And it writes pink ink too!  I got it at party city I think.  I don't remember for this one but it use to have a inflated hello kitty on top of it but that broke off.  I still use it though because it's still cute.  With the way it looks now, it kind of reminds me of a pen cher from clueless would have lol. 

Actually....


Almost identical! lol  Then I have a random pen my sensei gave me.  I have a mini advil because I have been getting a lot more headaches recently and my usb.  I always carry that on me. #graphicdesignprobz

Then a diva fan! lol cuz thick girls need that though.. In general, I kind of sweat easy and I hate to sweat!  I mean, I don't hate it, like in the gym or dojo or whatever, it's good.. but when its not suppose to happen, its NOT good!! lol  I HAATE sweating and my makeup gets all messed up. Also, though it's fall, california doesnt really know that.  As i'm typing we are in the middle of a heat wave continued.. because it never stopped from last week.lol  So anyways, I do have a diva fan.. not because I'm really a diva though. I just get hot lol.  I've carried fans like this for years.  Way before it was a trend to do that.  When I saw christina do it, I was like hey now! lol Now it seems to be a more common thing.  Anyway, this is my most favorite fan and lately I been caring it around because it's just been so dang hot!  I don't like to complain about California weather though because, at the end of the day, i love California.  I wouldn't be any place else.  But little baby jesus in heaven, can we have some fall weather though?  That's my fav part of fall.  I like the gloomy overcast skies!  



Then I have my change purse that I got from daiso japan for 2 bucks!  And a notepad for taking notes or jotting stuff down.  
And omg. I think we are finally coming to a closing!.. 
lastly I have my cherry blossom body mist spray (mini) from bath and body works.  Thee best place to get your scents and shower stuff!! 



 This is one of my favorite scents from there.  It's like a classic scent from their company.  It's super sweet and feminine smelling.  And that is everything!!!! ooh my goodness. That was crazy!  I think this is the longest article I ever wrote! lol Or so it feels. Good god!  I hope it wasn't too long and winded to read through.  I hope you made it to the end, and if so.. we did it!!! lol yay!  Wouldn't it be funny if somehow blogger erased this?!! lolol.. no... that would not be funny at all!  I think I would have to shed a tear for that one if it happened.  Anyways, as always, happy Monday readers!!
