Why being single is Awesome!

Hey everyone!  I hope you are all having a fabulous Monday!   So, today was suppose to be my EPIC Halloween article but long story short, (I don't have all my pics!) *tears* But it will be up ASAP for the people who haven't gotten their costumes yet.  Gotta role with the punches. Anywho, in the meantime I thought I'd write an article that may be perfect for this season/time of year.  Why being single is Awesome!  This is one of those evening cozy articles so get into the covers, pour a glass of wine and keep reading!

I have to say, I am a single girl and honestly, I am the happiest I ever been in my entire life!  I don't really like to talk about this much on my blog really because I guess it feels weird to proclaim that to the world? Idk.. But it's true and it's the realist and most comfortable happiness I've ever had really.  I want to share because I feel that many people don't get to experience what I'm experiencing or maybe they want to but don't know how.  I would think many want to but don't know how.  If you ever wondered if there is such thing as happiness outside of a relationship, there is! And I am not just talking about being content!  I mean full blown happiness!!  It takes a bit of living and a certain understanding of life to have it I think though. 

Soo how do you get to that place?  I think the path is different for everyone. But I will say that a big part of it is deciding that you aren't going to rely on others for your happiness.  It's being aware enough to understand that that is your downfall. It's the looking to others for a certain feeling that in actuality, you can have on your own.  If you never break the habit of looking to others for your happiness, (this can include friends as well actually) your always going to be chasing it in people and things.  You have to be one of those people where being independent is important to you.  I know that that is me! It's much more important for me to be a stand alone woman than anything in some ways.  I need to feel like  I can stand by myself and handle things by myself or I won't be fully happy.  It's just who I am.  I think because of that, in my past I've declined relationships, pushed people away, pushed through being alone at the time when it was hardest for me and I really felt like I needed someone there, to in some ways prove to myself that I didn't.  I didn't know but at the time, being single wasn't necessarily what made me sad. It was in some ways, knowing deep inside that I wasn't strong enough to handle things on my own.  In retrospect, that was what really hurt me. And I didn't even know.  But now that I am over those hurdles in my life, or reached the top of the mountain, I can say it is the most beautiful thing ever!  I don't think there's anything like it!  And I will tell you what it feels like!  It feels like freedom. It feels like happiness.  It feels like worry free,care free, anxiety free.  It feels like I don't need anything or anyone.  It feels like luxury and glamorous and like delicious! lol.  That's how I can describe it! But it takes time to get to this place. So here are some reasons why being single is fab for the lonely hearts out there! 

1. There is nothing, and I mean nothing in this world like being able to enjoy life by yourself.  It's like luxury at it finest or something.

2. No need to worry about cheating, other women etc.. 

3. No need to worry about STD's because of cheating, other women etc.. lol

4. No need to worry about pregnancy scares. Nuff said lol

5. No responsibilities of a relationship because it definitely does take a certain time and effort you have to put into it. Calling everyday, making sure everything is good with that person etc..  

6.  No need to worry if your significant other still finds you attractive, interesting etc.. 

7.  No need to worry if things are getting boring and how you can fix it etc..

8. You don't need to pay hyper attention to how you look. Like do I look pretty. Do I look fat right now etc.. 

It's like you just live and enjoy life.  That's why I said it's like freedom and no worries lol.  You don't gotta worry about aall thiis stufff. It's like hakuna matata up in here lol. When I look back to my 19 year old self, I don't even know how I dealt with all that and working 2 jobs and going to school.  And I think I was trying to start a business on the side at that time too.  Just tooo much! I don't have even half the worries alot of people I know in relationships have right now though I do know some happy couples.  There is such thing as being happy in love also!

One day, I will be ready for all that stuff again but right now hunty! No! lol 

I hope this article brought joy and light to the pretty single girls at home right now reading this.My heart feels for you if you are going through a broken heart right now and I've been there and I understand.  Even to the pretty single guys reading it too.  Everyone needs some lovin! Umm.. yes..
